The Finance Department is responsible for the overall financial management of the Township and supports all departments with:
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Cash management
- Monthly financial reporting
- Budget preparation assistance
The Finance Department was awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Comprehensive Annual Financial Reporting (CAFR) for 2014, 2015 and 2016.
In 2017, S&P reapproved the Township Aa rating. The rating reflects the Townshipâs growing, well managed and robust financial position. The outlook is stable, reflecting out expectation of sustained strong financial performance, further growth in assessed value and continued stability in the tax base.
The most significant benefit of this rating is the ability to borrow money at the lowest possible interest rate.
