Planning Commission Vacancy – Volunteer Wanted
Upper Allen Township is seeking a volunteer to fill a vacancy on the Planning Commission (PC). The vacant position has a term that expires on December 31, 2026, with an option to renew for an additional four years thereafter. Planning Commission meetings are typically held on the last Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m., as necessary.
The Planning Commission is a volunteer advisory board consisting of seven members who play a major role in advising and providing recommendations to the Board of Commissioners on matters of community growth and development. The Planning Commission reviews all applications for subdivision and land development plans. At the request of the Board of Commissioners, the commission will also review conditional use and text/map amendments to the Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Land Development Ordinance.
