Upper Allen Township is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Township Manager due to an internal promotion. Upper Allen Township a community of 20,000 is known for its safe neighborhoods, exceptional parks and excellent schools. The Assistant Township Manager reports to the Township Manager and will be responsible for assisting in the management of 35 full time employees and a $23.2 million budget.
A bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration is required, with a master’s degree desired. The candidate will have demonstrable managerial experience in local government or the private sector and possess a combination of education, training and experience, which provides the necessary knowledge, skill and ability required for the position. The successful candidate will be innovative, have outstanding verbal and writing skills, success in team building, and have experience in finance and budgeting. Salary range is $79,637 – $89,637.
