Bridge 247 Replacement - York County

Project: York County Bridge 247 Replacement

Address:  Bridge No. 247 over Yellow Breeches Creek in Monaghan Township, York County and in Upper Allen Township, Cumberland County. The bridge is located on North Grantham Road and Mill Road.

Project Description: At the May 5, 2022 Board of Commissioners' meeting, a representative of Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc. (HRG) shared plans to replace York County Bridge 247.  Here are the exhibits: Bridge Improvement Plan Exhibits

Grantham Road Sidewalk

Grantham Road Sidewalk Meeting

The Board of Commissioners invites residents of Grantham and other interested parties to a public meeting on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 to discuss the results of the Grantham Road Sidewalk Feasibility Study.  The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the Township building.

 

The study results include a proposal to install sidewalks along the southern side of Grantham Road, between Mill Road and the cul-de-sac abutting Route 15.  The proposed improvements would include a four-foot wide sidewalk with ADA compliant curb rams, as well as storm sewer improvements.
