2021 Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Program
Appointments required and a fee of $0.30/lb will be charged. Read on for more details and a list of frequently asked questions. Participants must sign up for an appointment in advance. Appointment slots are available in 15 minute increments and are limited to 15 customers per slot. All acceptable material will be weighed as is and each customer will be charged $0.30 per pound for disposal. Pre-registration will help control traffic flow and reduce congestion. Each event will be limited to the number of registrants listed (360). Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Only one appointment (quantity) per customer per year allowed. Cumberland County residents only.
In order to be safe and maintain operations, Cumberland County has developed a COVID-19 Exposure Prevention, Preparedness, and Response Plan to be implemented to the extent feasible and appropriate.
Anyone showing symptoms of COVID-19 should refrain from participating!
Customers should remain in their vehicles until told to exit – only one person needs to exit the vehicle. Customers should maintain social distancing and wear a face covering.
