The Board of Commissioners approved narrowing Mill Road Bridge over Trout Run Stream to one lane. Green Acres is scheduled to install the guide rail, designed to narrow the road of Mill Road Bridge, on Monday, November 2nd. Pending weather, the work is expected to be complete in one day. The Township has Posted Signs to warn drivers of the change. The reason for narrowing the Bridge to one lane is to lower the stress on the bridge, allowing the Township to set aside the funds needed to replace the bridge in the future. It is estimated to cost the Township about $500,000 to replace the bridge.

Update (11/4/2020): Mill Road. Bridge is now reduced to one lane, and the road is open to the public again.
