A lamp that is lit up at night

Upper Allen Township’s Trick or Treat Night will take place as scheduled on Thursday, October 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. Residents, with children, may decide if they wish to participate in door-to-door Trick or Treat activities and individual property owners may choose whether or not they wish to distribute treats from their residence. Residents who choose to distribute treats, please turn your porch/outside light on to notify others that you’re participating. Upper Allen Township does not sponsor any Trick or Treat related activities, thus the Township merely establishes a uniform date and time for residents who wish to participate.

While scary fun is great, please note these safety reminders and precautions to keep Township Trick-or-Treaters out of harm’s way. Parents who choose to have their child(ren) participate in Trick or Treat are urged to have them wear any costume masks so they are large enough to see through easily, have a flashlight and wear bright reflective colors. Walk on the sidewalks and use crosswalks. Do not walk between parked cars. Parents should also inspect treats before allowing their children to eat them. Please be sure to follow the CDC’s and PA Department of Health’s Guidelines pertaining to social distancing and masking.

In the event it needs to be re-scheduled due to severe weather conditions, the makeup day is the following Saturday (October 31st) from 4:00 until 6:00, rain or shine. No other dates will be considered.

Have a safe and Happy Halloween!
