FEMA is updating its floodplain maps.  The next step in the process is for FEMA to hold a public appeal period.  The 90-day public appeal period for the draft Flood Rate Insurance Maps (FIRMs) will begin on February 4, 2020.   The draft floodplain changes are available to view here: Cumberland County Planning Department Floodplain Maps.
